Cambridge & Coleridge Athletic Club has an objective to be as inclusive as possible. This includes supporting athletes who find themselves in financial hardship. Support is available for those who might be reluctant to join, because the fee is more than they can afford, and for existing members who find it difficult to pay because of genuine and unavoidable financial difficulties.
Options | |
---|---|
(1) Instalments | Membership fees are paid in full by the member but in two six-monthly or four three monthly instalments. The first instalment must be greater than the England Athletics registration fee. |
(2) Reduced subscriptions | The subscription is reduced but must be at least equal to the England Athletics registration fee. The Club waives some, or all, of the remaining subscription. |
(3) Support for Expenses | The club is able to provide financial support for the purchase of kit or other expenses and this would normally be provided by the Club Trust Fund. Find out more about the C&C Trust. |
Applications
Applications must be made in writing to the membership secretary: [email protected]. The application must state which of the options is requested and should outline reasons for requesting the arrangement.
All applications are considered in strictest confidence by a small group of club officers. Details of the application are not disclosed to any other club member. It is not necessary to submit detailed evidence which might be considered intrusive but it is helpful if documents showing that the applicant is, for example, in receipt of benefits, can be included. This will help the panel in making their decision and in ensuring that club funds are used appropriately. All records relating to the application will be securely destroyed once the club’s accounts for the relevant year have been approved.
At Cambridge & Coleridge we want to assure you that you can trust us to look after your data.
