Maisey Snaith was amongst the U20 gold medal winning team at the European Championships at Boras, Sweden. The championships took place from 18th – 21st July. This was Maisey’s first GB vest and she equipped herself excellently with a tremendous run in the heat to ensure that the GB team qualified for the final.

Maisey will continue her athletics career in the USA competing in the NCAA where she has signed for the Mizzou Track & Field team.
Middle distance athlete Thomas Keen, also took part in championships. Thomas competed in the 1500m where, unfortunately he suffered a fall and finished in a disappointing 10th place in his heat.
Earlier in the month Julia Paternain also donned a GB vest. Julia was selected for the U23 European Championships where she ran the 10,000m and finished in a credible 6th place.
