The is a series of 5K races held between April and September each year. Eight clubs compete in the league:

Scoring
Scoring every runner who finishes a race scores a point for their club โ with additional points awarded for those crossing the line first. Scores accumulate over the summer and the results are announced at the end of the series.
How do I take part?
To participate, runners just need to turn up to an event wearing their club vest. Races are free to enter and open to athletes aged 14 years and over.
The club take part in the National Road Relay Championships held in the spring and autumn. These are team events consisting of a South of England regional qualifier and, if successful, a national final organised by the English Road Running Association. Usually only 1st claim athletes can compete in the championship races.
The South of England Athletics Association (SEAA) 6/12-stage Road Relays takes place in March (last year in Milton Keynes). There are separate races for women and men, but no juniors event. The womenโs relay consists of six stages of approximately 5K, while the men compete over 12 stages, alternating between 8K and 5K. Qualifiers from this meeting progress to a final (last year at Sutton Park, Birmingham) in mid April over similar distances. This event is usually a good โsharpenerโ for those doing the London Marathon.
The SEAA 4/6-stage Road Relays are usually held in September and feature both junior and senior races.
