Michael Hausler had a successful trip to Gothenburg, Sweden in August coming away with a bronze medal at the World Masters Athletics Championships in the M65 Shot Put. Michael narrowly missed out on the gold medal by 17cm. This was Michael’s first medal at a World Masters Championships! It follows him setting a new British M65 Outdoor Shot Put record of 13.41m on 4 July at Wilberforce Road at the EMAC League meeting.
