Boxing Day Four Miler – It’s Back!!!

After a year off last year and assuming the weather is ok, the traditional 4 mile out and back Boxing Day run/race will be on, starting at 11am, this year. The start is at the university track and out along the Coton footpath for 2 miles – around a cone and back. It is free to enter and anyone one from C&C, your friends and family are welcome to join us. Just give yourself enough time to register.

Also, I want to take the opportunity to thank Noel (and Mary) for all their support in time keeping over the previous events. Noel is stepping back from some of his duties, but I am grateful for all his support over the years. It does leave a gap for another volunteer. So, I do need a few volunteers, please:-

1 – Timekeeper

2 – Scorer

3 – A marshal at the left turn onto the farm track (it is a mile away from the start, so best by bike from Wilberforce Road – or by car past the Plough and Cricket Club)

4 – A marshal for the first turn 100m away from the start – so can be a family member as you will see the race (it is to look out for cyclists!)

Please do email Chris Hurcomb

There is some parking in the spaces before the main gates at the track.

We look forward to seeing you there.

At Cambridge & Coleridge we want to assure you that you can trust us to look after your data.
