We encourage anyone interested in running and athletics to give officiating a try – whether you compete, used to compete, want to make new friends or if one of your family members compete and you want to be involved yourself – whatever your inspiration, take your Level 1 course and see where officiating can take you.
Even if you can only spare a little time just a few times a year, you will be making sure our club can continue to compete in events and run competitions. On a personal level, officiating is a great way to meet new people and there is a great
sense of camaraderie and support in the athletics officials community. Most Level 1 courses are now virtual so you can take part from the comfort of your own home.
The club will pay course expenses if you send the club a copy of the receipt. Check the attached list of courses taking place from October to December 2022. If you don’t have a login to the myathletics hub, you should be able to create one at
“Register” on https://www.athleticshub.co.uk/ or enter URN Number e.g., 1234567 or your email address, followed by your password.
