Several C&C athletes took part in the South of England Indoor U20/ Senior Championships at Lee Valley.
Deshawn Lascelles excelled in the senior men’s triple jumped. Deshawn secured the gold medal and jumped to a PB in the process. His leap of 15.22m places him first in the U23 rankings and seventh across all age groups.
David MacQueen placed 11 in the senior men’s Long Jump with a leap of 6.20m with fellow jumper Zara Osei jumped 10.30m in the U20W triple jump.
Representing the sprinters Thomas Moody Tipping qualified for the semi finals U20 men’s 60m.
Amy Clarke (SW) and Matthew Smith (U20M) competed strongly in the 800m.
