Shannon Flockhart continued her amazing form this year with a semi final victory in this year’s NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at Hayward Field, Eugene, Oregon, USA. In winning her semi final in a new PB of 4:05.99, Shannon improved Holly Archer’s club record by over a second. Shannon went on to finish sixth in the final.
Her time places her top of the UK U23 rankings, seventeenth in UK U23 all time rankings and eighth in the UK overall rankings.
