4th November 2023 was the greatest day in our club’s history in terms of results from a National Championship as the club had a cracking (albeit rainy) day out in Mansfield.
Our Senior Men won GOLD with a blistering time of 1:02:04, beating Aldershot AC by two seconds in a thrilling sprint finish. National Champions!
Our Junior Women won GOLD as they smashed out 3 x 2.5k in 26:47, holding off Cheltenham by 13 seconds. National Champions!
Our U13 Boys clinched SILVER with an impressive 3 x 2k in 22:40 – what a result for the team.
Our Junior Men celebrated BRONZE completing their 3 x 3k in 27:11, behind Radley and the ever present Aldershot AC.
Our U17 Men ran the same 3 x 3k course, taking 4th place in 28:52, in a tight finish five seconds ahead of Taunton.
Our Senior Women achieved 5th place, nearly catching Leeds City AC, who finished just 4 seconds ahead.
